Support services for foreign residents

Support for Japanese-Language Study

TPIEF provides support for language study by foreign residents by holding language classes and matching volunteer instructors and residents.

These couses are designed for prefectural foreign residents to enjoy improvement of their Japanese language skills for use in everyday life. Please share this information with any friends and neighbours who might also benefit from studying with us.

For continuing students, enrollment may take place at any time during the course.
Class fee: The classes are free of charge, but for some classes students will be required to purchase a textbook.
For information, contact your closest TPIEF office.
