Yesterday and today have been remarkably warm for late September; such that, in fact, we were tempted to use the air conditioning last night. Personally, I hope this is the last midsummeresque day of the season, and that our entrance to October will bring more of the pleasantly cool weather we've been having of late. That said, it's expected to rain all week. Something of a mist has been falling all morning, and isn't supposed to abate until the end of the week. What can one say about rain? I've been racking my brain for something to say about it, and can barely cause drops of blood to form at my forehead. Certainly less than there is to say about any of the recent political issues, the expressing of any sort of opinion or sentiment about which would likely earn me more rebuke or consternation than readership--which is to say, a barely perceptible amount, as compared to none whatsoever. Suffice it to say that so turns the wheel of fortune, as calamitous presidential debates and divisive questions of refugee crises boil, in sequent toil all forwards do contend. Somebody, throw me a string bean. I'm a hungry man.
